The former Nickelodeon child actor, Tylor Chase, now 36, has once again made waves after being admitted to a hospital following a hotel incident in which he damaged a room arranged for him by one of his co-actors, Daniel Curtis Lee, according to Bored panda. Chase, who gained popularity after playing Martin Qwerly in the sitcom Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, has lately been dealing with mental health issues, homelessness, and substance abuse.

Tylor Chase, who was spotted roaming the streets of Los Angeles, California, in shabby clothes, was approached by co-actor Daniel Curtis Lee, who wanted to help him during the holiday season by arranging a motel room for him to stay. While he trashed the room before leaving, his family members and friends have come forward to help him, considering his current well-being and behaviour. As per Borepanda, Daniel Curtis Lee took to TikTok and Instagram to share the unfortunate news that Chase trashed the motel room he paid for and arranged for him.

According to Daily Mail, as cited by Bored panda, following the motel room incident, Tylor Chase was admitted to a local hospital for medical treatment. Curtis Lee informed that it was Tylor's father, Joseph Mendez Jr, who instructed the influencer Jacob 'Jake' Harris to help Tylor. During a recent interview, which was published on December 26, 2025, Jacob Harris said:

"I was able to finally get ahold of a crisis center that would come out and do a same-day evolution."

Harris went ahead and said:

"They determined he needed immediate help and brought him to a local hospital for 72-hour teatment."

Harris, who is also the owner of Shipwreck Barbershops, further added:

"He's in good care now. And the future is looking bright. He just needed someone to actually do something to help."

Tylor Chase was unwilling to accept help at one point

As cited by Bored panda, according to The Mighty Duck actor, Shaun Weiss, who, after learning about Chase's current condition, tracked him down to help, explained how difficult it was for the LA-based social media influencer Jacob 'Jake' Harris, to create a rapport with Tylor, keeping in mind his current well-being and mental state. Weiss stated that Tylor Chase, after a point, was reportedly not willing to let anyone help or assist him. Weiss said:

"Jake had established a conversation with [Tylor] and was working on establishing a rapport, which is difficult, and it can be tricky, considering the state that Tylor's in. He said that Tylor seemed to be very receptive to getting treatment and to the idea of going into a detox."

Weiss further added:

"I think a comment he made was, 'I like my life the way it it,' and I can assure you he does not like his life the way it is. We're just doing whatever we have to do to sort of get off the street."
