“They looked so cute together”: Eiza González comments on ex Timothée Chalamet’s romance with Kylie Jenner

Eiza González spoke about her separation from Timothée Chalamet on May 31, 2025, because he was becoming more involved with Kylie Jenner. People knew Chalamet from her roles in Godzilla vs. Kong and Baby Driver. González was asked about Chalamet's public appearances with Jenner during a "Cheap Shots" segment on Cosmopolitan's YouTube channel. She called Chalamet "the most talented, sweetest boy" and raved over the new couple instead of becoming angry or upset.

She said, "They looked so cute together," and admitted she was "obsessed with them." The Mexican actress's comments in 2025 showed that they still cared for one another, even if they had only known each other for a brief time in mid-2020.

In June 2020, pictures of González, 35, and Chalamet, 29, kissing while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, made them the first pair to be seen together. Reports say that they spent five days together at the five-star Chileno Bay resort, where they hugged and sunbathed.

Sources say that by the end of 2020, Eiza González and Chalamet had grown distant and "hadn't seen much of each other" since their retreat. People who knew them said they were "happy together" throughout their short relationship.

There were suspicions of a connection between Chalamet and Kylie Jenner after they met during Paris Fashion Week in April 2023. They were open about their amorous moments at a number of award events and afterparties in 2025, as well as a public display of affection at the Golden Globes in 2024 and other key public appearances that year.

Chalamet wore a black velvet suit with a white flower on the lapel to the 70th David di Donatello Awards in Rome on May 6, 2025. Jenner wore a long black dress and big gold earrings. She further added,

“They looked so cute together. They look so in love and so cute.”

Eiza González's past connection with Chalamet came out not long after she praised the chemistry between Jenner and Chalamet. She chose not to talk about it anymore and instead changed the topic to Grigor Dimitrov, a Bulgarian tennis star who is now her boyfriend. She says that their current connection began when Dimitrov wrote her a "gentlemanly" direct message on social media, following which he asked her to dinner.
