"They did all that for pr for her new song?" : Fans react as Doja Cat reunites with 'Musty Boy' Pablo Tamayo after previous shade

Doja Cat has reunited with her fan, the "Musty Shirt" guy, aka influencer Pablo Tamayo, at her return to the Outside Lands Music Festival on August 8. This comes 2 months after she called the same man "musty" on TikTok after she handed her a t-shirt during a fan meet-up.

In a new TikTok posted at the time of the festival, Doja and the fan can be seen reuniting. The fan was wearing a t-shirt titled "Musty Boy." The two smiled and posed together in a short clip. This time, the singer said he smelled amazing, after Tamayo asked,

"So you rememeber that one time where the one time the one time. How do I smell?"

To which Doja responded,

"You smell amazing. Oh. Well, you smell good."

After the video of the two went viral, social media users took to Pop Base's X post to comment on the latest interaction.

"This musty trend is getting stale but watching doja drag this man's hygiene for another year is art lol - a user commented

"I thought they hated each other? why is he always present at wherever she goes" - another user questioned

"can we not call him "musty boy", he has a real name - another user opinionated

What happened between Doja Cat and Pablo Tamayo?

In June 2025, Pablo Tamayo shared a TikTok video of him giving his shirt to Doja Cat. In the clip, Tamayo said,

"I'm about to give my shirt to Doja Cat because she's the iconic girl."

Tamayo then pulled up his shirt, which read, "Hot boys kiss boys," and gave it to Doja, before hugging her, kissing her on the cheek, and grabbing her hands to laugh and jump. Doja thanked the fan and also said, "You smell great."

A week later, Doja posted a tweet referencing the shirt and said, "I threw that musty a** shirt away btw." She also claimed that the fan manhandled her."
