American rapper and songwriter, Isis Naija Gaston, commonly known by her stage name Ice Spice, has recently shared an interesting 'scoop' about her high-profile friends, pop icon Taylor Swift, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The Name Of Love singer, Ice Spice, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight at the 2025 Kids' Choice Awards on June 21, 2025, opened up about her friends Taylor and Travis.
The Bronx-based songwriter and rapper gained popularity in 2022 after her song Munch (Feelin' U) went viral on several social media platforms, including TikTok. The 25-year-old rapper, who started creating music in 2020 while she was still in college. It was social media that played a crucial part in her becoming famous. Career-wise, things changed for Ice Spice when she signed record deals with prominent record labels such as Capitol Records and 10K Projects.
During her conversation with Entertainment Tonight at the 2025 Kids' Choice Awards about Swift and Kelce, Spice revealed something that no one was quite expecting. When she was asked to share something 'surprising' about the renowned power couple, the In Ha Mood hitmaker said:
"They're really really funny."
Ice Spice went ahead and added:
"They're probably some of my funniest friends. They're funny, you guys. That's the scoop. They're like us."
While Ice Spice revealed that Swift and Kelce are some of her funniest friends, it seems the rapper might know a few things about them that others don't. The Bikini Bottom singer, who, as per reports, is currently dating NFL star Sauce Gardner, has previously collaborated with Taylor Swift on the 2023 remix of the song Karma. Not to mention, she was also seen hanging out with Swift at both the 2024 and the 2025 Super Bowl.
Taylor Swift has also been supportive of Ice Spice when she made her SNL debut in October 2023. Interestingly, on that very same night, Travis Kelce also performed on Saturday Night Live in a skit.

In a July 2024 cover story interview with Rolling Stone, Ice discussed her friendship with the pop star, Swift, and stated that:
Their "personalities mesh really well."
Taylor Swift, who shared the stage with Ice Spice during her Eras Tour, told Rolling Stone what she thought of her. The 35-year-old pop star said:
"I love when I meet a new artist who takes a keen interest in not just the music, but the music industry and how it works. Seeing Ice lean into the strategic, financial, and business aspects of her career is really exciting for me.
