Ray J is a musician and entrepreneur who made his mark in the early 2000s with several chart-topping hits.

In the most recent news about the Sexy Can I singer, Ray J, took to Instagram on December 14 and posted a video that is both confusing and concerning. As reported by The Daily Mail, in the clip, the singer claims that he was hitchhiking as part of a reality show titled Celebrity Hitchhiking. He went on to claim the idea was his, and then pleaded to his fans for food and shelter.

“I need some food and I need shelter. Just a lot of s*** that’s happened. And I just wanna get back home and see my kids. It’s a hitchhiking show, but it’s real, though, at the same time, and I wanna make it really authentic. I just do it for real on my phone. I mean, I have a camera in there too, but it’s just me.”

He also alleged that he was simply in the process of doing a test run to establish proof of concept. This is certainly a troubling development for the singer that continues a bizarre streak of behavior dating back to his Thanksgiving arrest.

The caption that accompanied the post was,

“Things got bad for me. I just need shelter and a little help. I know there is still good people out in this world. I promise I will repay you. Pls - I’m in tampa now. Trying to get back to Los Angeles before Xmas to spend time with my family and kids. - I’m in a cream jump suit with a red backpack . I’m at the hard rock hotel at the moment . Can some one help me pls.”
