Inside the NBA analyst Charles Barkley has remarked on the controversy surrounding Bill Belichick’s recent CBS interview with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

The former Houston Rockets star appeared on The Dan Patrick Show and gave his takes on different subjects. During the conversation, the host asked Barkley about what the former New England Patriots coach is doing. The two-time Olympic Gold winner stated how talking about Bill is a “slippery" subject for him, especially since Bill has been "a great friend" for long. Charles Barkley elaborated:

“I don't… I'm not sure what's going on. You know, he's been a great friend to me for a long time. We've been friends since he coached for the Browns. I think he got to be very careful right now. This is starting to be on a very slippery slope. He's the greatest football coach ever… Him and Nick Sabin. For college, Nick Sabin. For Bill, the NFL.”

Sharing his concern for Bill Belichick, based on the reports, Charles Barkley said:

“From what I'm hearing, it's starting to be a very slippery slope. And I never talk about people's personal relationships. That's another rule I got. But I will admit I'm a little concerned with some of the stuff that's going on. And I might actually reach out to him and make sure everything's good. But I am concerned from what I'm hearing. ‘Cause, yeah, it's not a good look right now. I'll admit that."

Charles Barkley talked about his two rules after Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson's viral interview

Dan Patrick mentioned that Bill Belichick had an image of a “control freak,” but he felt that the former NFL coach “relinquished control,” based on recent news. As the host shared his surprise, Charles Barkley asserted his two crucial rules for the interviews — no personal questions and no responses from his family.

Barkley maintained that he is the one who is famous and should be dealing with the “crap.” The 1993 NBA MVP explained how asking such questions or a family member responding to them “muddy the water.” Charles maintained that he was concerned about his friend and hoped “everything was alright.”

Jordon Hudson reportedly stormed off Bill Belichick’s recent CBS interview, causing a 30-minute-delay

The UNC (University of North Carolina) coach recently appeared on the CBS News Sunday Morning to discuss his book The Art of Winning. During the interview, reporter Tony Dokoupil asked Bill about his first meeting with Jordon Hudson. Before Belichick answered, his girlfriend responded:

“We’re not talking about this.”

After the clip from the interview went viral, TMZ reported that Jordon apparently stormed off, delaying the shoot by half an hour. Later, Bill defended his girlfriend in a statement, asserting how personal questions were asked multiple times before Hudson intervened.
