Big Sean commented on a content creator's post to deny allegations of steroid usage. Health influencer, Blake Sanburg, in a social media video, was seen reacting to Sean's Precision music video, and alleged that the artist uses ab enhancement,
"He seems to have extremely defined abs sitting on top of a bubble gut."
Sanburg then went on to compare Big Sean's images from around 2015 to his recent posts and said,
"At almost any body fat he's at, (Sean) has almos the same ab definition."
Sanburg said that since pictures can be edited, video is more trustworthy and pulled up a video of Sean doing pullups and said,
"In this workout video he uploaded a while back, his abs look completely different from before. If I had to put my money on one, I would think he either started taking steroids and his muscles, including his abs got bigger, or he got some kind of abdominal etching."
Sean commented on the post, debunking Sanburg's claims and said,
"Bro, unfortunately mine are real lol. I got love for the fake an community tho, to each its own, but what makes it funnier is this is the way God made me. I just happen to look like a chewed up tootsie roll when im outta shape lol. But I can only speak for myslef. I only have to say something cause this s**t getting way outta hand (laughing emoji).
"I cant believe I have to even say this" - Big Sean responds to steroid claims
While responding to health influencer Blake Sanburg's claims of him consuming steroids, Big Sean said that "this is the way God made me", the singer also responded to another user's comments saying:
"Im only speaking for myself, iont know what others do but thats just how my stomach is naturally. I cant believe I have to even say this, but I guess its where we are as a society. Cooked (laughing emoji)."
In March, 2020, Sean opened up to Men's Health, about his exercise routine which includes four weekly workouts consisting of boxing, weight training, and chains.
In 2019, he made a new year 's resolution, and ditched his habit of late-night junk food, and replaced it with protein-rich meals. The singer went from 125 pounds to 155 in that year, and gained "confidence stamina" to perform on stage. He also said that he can feel a difference and does not run out of breath while performing.
