Kesha is giving KATSEYE her seal of approval, and it's not just hype.
In her recent conversation with Cosmopolitan, the veteran pop star is celebrating the multinational female group that's soaring towards its first GRAMMY nod, and carving its own space in the arena she helped build.
"Those girls are absolutely killing it. They just got nominated for their first Grammy. I'm so proud of them, and I love that we all, as artists, inspire each other."

Recalling, the TiK ToK hitmaker met with Lara Raj in person in March, who has credited Kesha as the reason the KATSEYE main vocalist became a singer. Videos of young Lara Raj also circulated on the internet, wherein she is singing to Kesha's hits.
In an interview with i-D, the girl group member reflected on meeting the We R Who We R star for the first time, revealing she's "still not over it."
"She's the whole reason I wanted to become an artist, since I was three or four years old. Meeting her truly healed my inner child. We all cried in front of her, because we love her so much, and she was the sweetest, coolest person ever."
Kesha reflects on today's music industry shift: "We're living in a time where it's more collaborative"
Kesha, in her Cosmopolitan interview, reflected on her experience as a newbie in the industry and what changed years later.
"When I was first coming up in the business, it was so interesting because — I won’t name names — but let’s just say, people would try to pit me against other artists and compare our bodies and compare our voices and compare where we’re landing on the charts. It was so f***ed up. I never subscribed to it. But in my head, I was thinking, 'These are the people that pick me up when I need a pick-me-up. These are the girls I listen to when I want to go out.'"

The Your Love is My Drug songstress went on, saying that the business now leans more into a collaborative landscape than rivalry.
"I think it's amazing that now we're living in a time where it's more collaborative, and artists — and especially women — can just appreciate and love and honour each other. The only competition I have is with being the most authentic version of myself."
The pop star released her latest album, [Period], in July, containing 11 tracks that were all co-written by Kesha herself. It came after her 2023's Gag Order and 2020's High Road.
The pop singer has faced a legal obstacle in recent years, reaching widespread attention, before it concluded in 2023. Now, Kesha is focused on helping others heal in whatever ways she can.
"Most people probably go through a phase in your life where you know what the rules are, and you're ready to test the boundaries and see which rules are applicable and which rules make sense and then, which rules are for breaking. I feel like, when that time comes in any young person's life, I am blessed and honoured to be the soundtrack of that."

Meanwhile, in the spirit of KATSEYE's own "gnarly" rise, Kesha's conviction comes through just as boldly.
"I f***ing hope they win the Grammy."
