Latin musician DELAROSA was killed in a fatal shooting by three men.

Three men have been charged with murder in Northridge for the murder of Latin musician DELAROSA this past weekend. According to Los Angeles County prosecutors, Maria De La Rosa, who was only 22 years old, was shot to death after the men approached the parked car occupied by her and 2 others on Bryant Street near Tampa Avenue. They demanded money, and when they were not complied with, they opened fire.

LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said, "This was a ruthless and targeted attack that stole the life of a young woman and artist and inflicted profound lifelong trauma on her family and the two survivors. My Office will pursue this case aggressively to ensure those responsible are held fully accountable for this senseless and deadly violence.”

The three suspects are Francisco Otilio Gaytan, Benny LiconGomez, and Eduardo Lopez, out of whom Lopez remains at large. According to the prosecutors, if convicted, they could serve life in prison without parole. They are charged with one felony count of murder and two felony counts of attempted second-degree robbery.

DELAROSA passed away at a hospital, while the two other victims have suffered serious injuries. The young Latin singer, who has more than 40,000 followers on Instagram, released a single in August called “No Me Llames,” which in English means “Don't Call Me.” She has received condolences from her fans and peers all over her social media.
