David Harbour is giving fans a little peek into Avengers: Doomsday as the Red Guardian actor hails the MCU film as a game-changer.
Speaking to ScreenRant about what it's like to work with Anthony and Joe Russo, Harbour opened up about the duo's "special sauce" and how they're adding layers of comedy and drama to unveil some surprises and epicness in the film.
Talking about how the experience is like nothing he has been in before he added,
"I will say I've never been on a set like this in my life. I've never seen anything like this. You saw those chairs. So it's like, every one of those guys and girls has a trailer. It's just insane to look around the room and be like, "Oh my god, I'm in the movie. There's what's his face doing that speech". It's just enormous."
Harbour was first seen in the MCU with Black Widow where he played Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian. As Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova's adoptive father, he has been a significant character in their arcs and reprised his role in Thunderbolts*, joining the group which is now known as The New Avengers.
He will next be seen in Avengers: Doomsday as The Red Guardian, joining the likes of Bucky Barnes, Yelena, John Walker, Ava Starr and Bob Reynolds as co-membrs of his team.

Avengers: Doomsday is being hailed as one of the most large scale cinematic events Marvel fans have seen in years. Bringing back an ensemble of the biggest names in the MCU, the film is aiming for a new phase for the franchise, with a new central villain and new teams that will fight against him.
Robert Downey Jr. has returned to play Victor Von Doom aka Doctor Doom, one of the most prolific Marvel villains of all time and the primary adversary of the Fantastic Four. Fighting against him are four teams: The Avengers, the New Avengers aka Thunderbolts, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and the Wakandans.
The cast for Avengers: Doomsday includes Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum and Pedro Pascal among others. Although this is just the list of the officially announced stars, fans are holding on to hopes for more appearances from some fan favorite Avengers members.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film is set to give the MCU a brand new start with new plotlines that will follow and a subsequent sequel Avengers: Secret Wars for 2027.
