Tina Knowles spotted at Paris Fashion Week supporting her grandson Julez Smith

Tina Knowles recently made an appearance at Paris Fashion Week to support her grandson Julez Smith. On June 26, the proud grandmother uploaded a video to Instagram of Julez walking in the Paris Fashion Week show for Bluemarble Men's Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. Her glowing caption reads:

“Just left the @bluemarble Paris Fashion Week Runway show. My handsome grandson @iamjulezjsmith walked the show ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️The clothes were awesome!”

Cousin Angie Beyincé was seated in the front row alongside Tina Knowles in a show of familial support for Julez.

Tina Knowles has four grandchildren in total. While Julez is Solange’s only child, her other daughter, Beyoncé, has three of her own: her eldest, Blue Ivy, and twins Rumi and Sir. She is publicly open about her love for all her grandchildren.

Tina also added a video of Blue Ivy prepping her for the Bluemarble event. She uploaded a video to Instagram of her granddaughter applying her makeup — namely, a strong red lipstick — to her grandmother’s lips. She even commended Blue in the caption:

"I did not have a Makeup Artist so I asked my talented granddaughter Blue Ivy to do my make up. She did a fabulous job. ❤️❤️ what yal think?"

Tina Knowles has also penned a memoir titled Matriarch. The book follows her journey from Galveston, Texas to the heights she’s currently reached, although at one point she was close to shelving the work completely.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Tina Knowles shared some perspective on why she ultimately decided to go ahead with her work:

“I have always been a storyteller, and it’s something I learned from my mother. When I had a family of my own, I believed that my daughters needed to know where they came from to know where they were going.”

Knowles continued:

“Even at 70 I am still learning valuable lessons — revelations that I wish that I would have had at 40 or even 20. So, I have decided to tell my story, because I know what it means to me and my daughters and future generations of women.”
