Tom Cruise, 62, is making headlines for seemingly dodging a question about his daughter, Suri, whom he has long been reportedly estranged from.

During the premiere of Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning in New York City on May 18, the renowned actor was probed about his plans for Father's Day.

“Father’s Day is just around the corner,” the E! News journalist said, before asking him what an "ideal Father’s Day" would be for him:

Seemingly caught off-guard, Tom Cruise told the reporter,

“You know… just having fun, man."

The Top Gun actor then redirected the conversation to his craft without mentioning any of his children, adding his idea of fun meant:

“Making movies, big adventures, having a great time.”

Cruise, who is a father of three, shares Suri, 19, with his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, and two adopted children with his other ex-wife, Nicole Kidman — daughter Isabella, 32, and son Connor, 30. The New York Post has reported that his youngest daughter is now a student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Everything we know about Tom Cruise' allegedly strained relationship with his only biological daughter as she legally axes her surname:

As reported by the Daily Mail, Tom Cruise has long shared a rocky relationship with his daughter, Suri. However, he is reportedly close with Isabella and Connor, both of whom he and Kidman adopted during their marriage in the '90s.

Tom Cruise first tied the knot with Mimi Rogers in 1987, though he parted ways with her in 1990 before marrying Kidman later that year. The pair were together for 11 years before they split in 2001. He eventually went on to date Katie Holmes, and in 2006, she gave birth to Suri. They also got hitched the same year.

However, in 2012, they got divorced. According to the New York Post, at the time, the Dawson's Creek alum claimed she wanted “to protect Suri from Scientology,” per a 2013 deposition.

The Daily Mail has reported that his only biological daughter has since been raised by her mother in New York City, where she graduated from La Guardia High School last year. At the time, during her graduation ceremony, she revealed that she had legally dropped her father's surname, and was now going by her first two names: Suri Noelle.

Just last year, amid rumors that Suri had been named the beneficiary of a million-dollar trust fund, Katie took to social media to refute these claims. Coupled with a screenshot of an article that mentioned the bogus claims, she said,

“Enough.” She added, “Completely false." She also slammed the "Daily Mail" for "making stuff up.”

Katie Holmes has no other children.
