Spider-Man: Brand New Day - Tom Holland shares his health update

Tom Holland took to Instagram to share a video from a gala for The Brothers Trust, a nonprofit organization run by his parents. The event was attended by him and his fiancée, and actress Zendaya. In a long caption, the actor provided a brief update about his health, writing that he is “on the mend."

He wrote,

"What a night! Another huge success. The Brother’s Trust means more to me than I could possibly say and I have to say a huge thank you to my Mum and her wonderful friends for putting on another incredible night. Raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it! I’m sorry I had to leave early but I’m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier."

He then thanked everyone and gave a shoutout to the sponsors.

Earlier on Sunday, the shooting for Spider-Man: Brand New Day came to a halt after he suffered a minor concussion during a stunt. The film was being shot in Pinewood, United Kingdom, where he was taken to the hospital.

The film will also feature Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colon-Zayas, among others. Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando will be reprising their roles as Frank Castle, Bruce Banner, and Mac Gargan, respectively.
