Tough Guys: Everything you need to know about the Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell starrer upcoming action comedy

Tough Guys is the forthcoming film in the action comedy genre. The film is backed by Amazon MGM Studios and stars Will Ferrell and Ryan Gosling. The latter is also in talks to produce the film with Jessie Henderson.

Both Gosling and Ferrell have earlier appeared together in Greta Gerwig's 2023 comedy-drama film Barbie. However, they did not share scenes together. So let us get into all the details of this forthcoming film. The reunion of Ferrell and Gosling is expected to excite a lot of viewers.


Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell will star in Tough Guys

Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell will be starring in the forthcoming action comedy film Tough Guys for Amazon MGM Studios. Written by Daniel Gold, the film will revolve around two guys who work as henchmen for some powerful criminals. Soon, they become tired of being treated as disposables and decide to leave the world of crime. The duo then decides to start a new life.

Gosling and Jessie Henderson are planning to produce the film through the banner Open Invite Entertainment. Their company has a first-look deal with Amazon MGM. Meanwhile, Ferrell, along with Jessica Elbaum, might also produce the film through the banner Gloria Sanchez Productions. Aaron Folbe and Trevor Engelson are expected to serve as executive producers. The makers are yet to reveal who the director of Tough Guys will be.

Gosling recently executive-produced the crime comedy film The Actor. He was last seen in the action comedy Fall Guy, which he also co-produced. Despite positive reviews, the film did not perform well at the box office. Gosling's next project includes the sci-fi adventure film Project Hail Mary. Based on the 2021 namesake novel, the film will be released on March 20, 2026. Gosling is once again producing it. He will also be seen in the forthcoming Star Wars film.

Meanwhile, Ferrell was last seen in the romantic comedy flick You're Cordially Invited, which he also co-produced. The actor will be next appearing in yet another comedy film titled Judgment Day, which he is co-producing.

Both Gosling and Ferrell have proven their comedic timing in a number of films. So their collaboration is worth waiting for and should make their fans excited.
