Vanderpump Rules star Brock Davies opens up on cheating on his wife Scheana Shay

Reality television star Brock Davies, who rose to fame after starring in the Bravo reality TV series Vanderpump Rules, has opened up about cheating on Scheana Shay, his wife, who is also a star cast member on the show. Shay first broke the news of her husband, Davies's, infidelity in her memoir, My Good Side. In the book, she revealed that Brock had cheated on her when she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon, who is now 4 years old.

Brock Davies opened up about cheating on his wife for the first time on Scheana Shay's podcast, Scheananigans. On the July 25, 2025, episode of her podcast, Davies confessed what he had done and apologized to Shay for crossing the boundary when it came to their marriage. According to People, it was Glamour that published an excerpt from Shay's book on July 10, where she talked about Davies's infidelity.

During the podcast, Davies revealed that his extramarital affair, which happened during the coronavirus pandemic while he and his wife, Scheana Shay, were living in San Diego, was not romantic but only s*xual. Davies said:

"It was a s*xual affair. There was no dating. There was no courting. It was just purely that meetup, and then we had sex. And it happened multiple times over a three-week span."

While Brock did not disclose the woman with whom he was having the extramarital affair, he mentioned that he pulled the plug on it. Brock Davies added:

"I felt horrible about it. I was like, 'This is not okay. I'm not doing this.' And I pulled the pin."

While Davies regretted what he did to Scheana Shay, he deliberately decided to stay silent. Brock said:

"I was an absolute coward. That man was a coward, and he wasn't thinking about protecting you. He was just thinking about protecting himself, saving his face."

Regarding his silence, he said:

"It was selfish. It was a self-preservation tactic, you could say. I believed that I was never gonna do it again, and we could just move past this. ... And it was just another level of betrayal that I put on top of the first one."

Davies took the opportunity to make an effort to provide more context for what he had done to his wife, Scheana Shay. He explained that growing up, he experienced "constant instability," something that pushed him to discover his value in his achievements.

Brock Davies said cheating on Scheana Shay "burned a hole in my heart."

Davies realized that his actions might cost him everything, and he also felt that his actions were taking a toll on him with each passing day. He eventually learned that to have a healthy relationship, he must acknowledge his mistake. Davies then told Shay:

"I realized that in order for me to actually have a healthy relationship with you, one based on complete honesty, I needed to address this. This was the one thing that was hanging over me. It burned a hole in my heart. It really did."
