Verity gets a new release date

As per a report published by Deadline, Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson's film has got a new release date. Amazon MGM Studios will be releasing it on October 2, 2026. It was earlier supposed to drop on May 15, 2026. The reason behind this date push has not been revealed, but it means that fans will have to wait a little longer.

The psychological romantic thriller film will face off against Alejandro G. Iñárritu's untitled film with Tom Cruise, which is being released by Warner Bros. Pictures on the same day.

The makers had revealed the film's trailer in April this year at CinemaCon. It is being produced by Alex Hedlund, Nick Antosca, Stacey Sher, Anne Hathaway, Michael Showalter, Colleen Hoover, and Jordana Mollick. The production banners include Shiny Penny Productions, Eat the Cat, Semi-Formal Productions, Heartbones Entertainment, and Somewhere Pictures.
