Ahead of her impending nuptials with Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez has officially begun her bachelorette festivities. According to reports, the 55-year-old news anchor threw a party at Lafayette's in Paris on May 15 to kick of the celebrations. According to People, a source said:

"The atmosphere was very relaxed and very Parisian.”

Among those in attendance were A-list stars Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry and Eva Longoria.

More on Lauren Sanchez’s bachelorette party

The mood at the event was reportedly joyful and light-hearted. Sánchez wore a white, double-breasted coat with gold buttons to the affair, about which the source said:

"It was a pre-wedding all-girl party for 13.”

The source added, speaking exclusively to People:

“The women drank espresso martinis and everybody got up and danced when Lauren asked for 'Earth, Wind and Fire.’ "

Sánchez posted a carousel containing several photos of the event on her Instagram to commemorate the special day. Photos of the group as well as off-shoot pairings of those involved were accompanied by a heartfelt caption that read,

“Forever starts with friendship, surrounded by the women who’ve lifted me up, illuminated my path in dark times, and shaped my heart along the way. 🤍”

It has been confirmed that Sánchez and Bezos plan to officially tie the knot in June off the coast of Venice on their $500 million yacht named Koru. Their wedding expects to boast a star-studded guest list, and if Sánchez’s bachelorette party is any indication, it should be quite an affair. The couple went public in 2019, the same year Bezos and ex-wife Mackenzie Scott announced their divorce. The couple have seven children in all, from past relationships.

In April, Sánchez was a part of Blue Origin's celebrity-filled, all-female expedition to space. She has recently written her first children’s book, The Fly Who Flew to Space, an underdog story about a fly who is,

"bad at school and kind of wanders and gets stuck in a space capsule."

It seems as though Lauren Sánchez will be busy with several ventures as her wedding draws near. Hopefully, her extensive commitments will not get in the way of celebrating her love for her husband.
