A video of DDG and India Love's raunchy dance moves at a party is going wild amid the streamer's legal woes with the mother of his child, Halle Bailey.
Videos from Kai Cenat and AMP's wild pool party are going viral, and in one of them, India Love can be seen grinding on the Michigan rapper, who was visibly excited. As a result, rumors that a romance may be blossoming between the two have been growing rampantly.
The video comes amid DDG, legally known as Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr's ongoing legal custody battle for his son Halo, whom he shares with The Little Mermaid actress. The latter accused her estranged beau of being violent with her in a filing for a temporary domestic violence restraining order last month, which she won.
The latest developments in DDG and Halle Bailey's ongoing legal battles explored
Darryl, 27, recently took to X to resonate with the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, as he penned:
"Now I know how Michael Jackson felt being famous.. sh*t crazy."
In the latest development of his ongoing battle, he filed a restraining order against Halle Bailey, 25, himself, accusing her of threatening suicide several times. However, the mother of his 1-year-old son pushed back on the move, as reported by Billboard.
"I have been very vocal about my anxiety, depression and previous thoughts of suicide,” she reportedly penned in her declaration to the court. “Without waiving the psychotherapist-patient privilege and physician-patient privilege, I have reached out to my doctor and received treatment to address these issues. I have been and remain 100% available and capable as a parent to our son, Halo."
She also claimed that her estranged partner “has exaggerated, lied and misconstrued for the court, not only the history of our relationship, but our parenting and my mental health.”
Judge Latrice A.G. Byrdsong has allowed Halle Bailey to retain sole custody of their son, though she did issue an order that prohibits her from inflicting any physical or emotional abuse. She is also banned from harassing, assaulting, stalking, impersonating, or surveilling DDG.
Nonetheless, the parents are due in court on June 24 for their next hearing, where Halo's custody will be ruled on again. Both requests for domestic violence restraining orders will also be decided on. For the time being, Halle Bailey has been granted permission to take Halo to Italy for the next two months, where she will be shooting for an upcoming film. In his filing, the rapper, YouTuber, and Twitch streamer claimed that Bailey:
"Poses an immediate threat to my safety and emotional well-being and more importantly, to the stability and safety of our son."
He also alleged that she "routinely used emotional coercion, including but not limited to threats of self-harm" when he tried to leave her, allegedly "weaponized our pregnancy" with threats that she would "abort our baby should I not reconcile or accede to her demands," and allegedly invaded his privacy.
DDG also listed statements from his mother, Tonya Granberry, and her fiancé, George Charlston, as receipts for his claims. Tonya claimed to have come across AirTags Halle left behind, alleging it was a "clear and deliberate pattern of unauthorized surveillance and stalking" of Halo.
His lawyer, Larry M. Bakman, told Good Morning America recently that DDG "remains committed to resolving them through the appropriate legal channels, not the court of public opinion."
