NBA legend Kobe Bryant has posthumously become the center of controversy following an image that resurfaced on Instagram, posted by Sean "Diddy" Combs. The image depicts Bryant at the mogul's infamous 50th birthday party in December 2019. Taken just one month before Bryant died in a helicopter crash, the image has gone viral in light of the now-disgraced rapper's mounting legal troubles and recent arrest.

As such, internet users were quick to speculate about the nature of their relationship and whether Kobe Bryant was aware of the illegal activities that allegedly went down in Diddy's home. Some even began dubbing it a "farewell party" for Kobe.

"Oh SNAP….. Was it a farewell party for Kobe? I happen to believe that Kobe’s death was staged. Kobe was going up against pharmaceutical companies in legal lawsuits. If Diddy knows something about Kobe that we don’t This is another atomic blast for the masses," one user theorized.

Scores of the late legend's fans began chiming in to speculate.

"i love conspiracy’s as much as the next person but this is a stretch. the death of kobe is entirely on the helicopter pilot that decided to take a gamble and venture into bad weather. he wasn’t properly trained to handle the conditions and panicked. diddy is not involved here," one person stated.
"People aren’t ready to know the truth about Kobe," someone else declared.
"Do yall not realize that damn near every famous person hangs out with each other? Not everyone who has a pic with Diddy is in on this," another pointed out.
"I wonder if Kobe couldn’t be blackmailed or threatened to expose Diddy. I no longer believe in coincidences," yet another chimed in.

The internet seemingly grew increasingly divided as more and more took to the comments section to share their theories. Some asserted that there was no way Kobe Bryant knew anything about Diddy's infamous parties.

"Nah leave Kobe out of all this nonsense," one user professed.
"Denigrate anybody but my man Kobes. Kobe wouldn't be caught near a Diddy freakoff," another said.
"Even if Diddy has these off the wall parties, it would also make sense for him to just have general parties mixed in there. Which would imply that not everyone at a diddy party was there for whatever is being talked about currently," another posited.

Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, passed away 43 days after the party

Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, attended Diddy's party together. Right after the party, she took her Instagram to share a selfie of the two, with the caption wishing the mogul a happy birthday. Kobe and his daughter, Gianna, met an untimely demise just 43 days later in a helicopter that crashed on January 26, 2020. He was 41 years old at the time, while Gianna was 13.

There is no evidence to suggest that the NBA legend Kobe Bryant was in on Diddy's alleged s*xual misconduct and that he knew about it in the first place.

Diddy was arrested earlier this month and is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York after his bail was denied twice. He awaits his day in court and was hit with s*x trafficking and racketeering charges, among others.
