Pusha T is opening up about no longer sharing a bond with Kanye West, his former collaborator.
The rapper sat down for an interview with Ebro Darden for Apple Music, where he got candid about his and Ye's bond unravelling in the public eye.
“I feel like me and Ye, we don’t gel,” he told Darden. “Where I am right now in my life, I’m not with anybody who ain’t on my team — especially when I’ve been on yourteam.”
He also scrutinized Kanye West's pattern of publicly aligning himself with anyone who doesn't like Pusha T.
“He champions and stands next to anybody and everybody who don’t f**k with me,” he said. “And I don’t get that. I don’t understand that.”
The former GOOD Music president also slammed his once-friend for his negative comments about the music they made together, which includes "Runaway," "Mercy," and more.
“Why would you ever say anything negative about the music we created when you know it slaps?”

As reported by Hot 97, Pusha T has been publicly criticizing his former friend in a string of interviews. In a previous conversation with GQ, he said he no longer respects his fellow artist:
“We made some great sh*t, bro,” Pusha said. “He’s a genius. But that’s why me and him don’t get along, because he sees through my fakeness with him. He knows I don’t think he’s a man. He’s shown me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people.”
The Clipse's widely anticipated reunion album, Let God Sort Em Out, is expected to drop today, July 11. Thus far, the duo has dropped “So Be It" and "Ace Trumpets." When the latter had dropped back in May, West took to X to admit that he missed being friends with Pusha T:
"I miss me and Pusha’s friendship," he wrote at the time.
In the lead single, Pusha T name-dropped West as he rapped,
“Sold ecstasy and disappeared, I am Whodini/ Look at them, him and him, still waitin’ on Yeezy/ I hope you got your squeegees/ At your interviews, I just ki-ki."
Back in 2022, following the antisemitic comments Ye had been making, Pusha T spoke with XXL Magazine about what he thinks:
“[It’s] nothing to tap dance around. It’s wrong. Period,” he said. “But to me, it’s just me and him having a difference of opinion yet again.” He added, “If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new [Infowars] stuff. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”
As reported by Billboard, Pusha T joined G.O.O.D. Music back in 2010, and he stayed with them until he debuted his 2022 album, It’s Almost Dry, which West partly worked on with Pharrell.
Only time will tell if Pusha and West can set aside their differences and mend their bond. In the meantime, stay tuned to Soap Central for more.
