Gama ended the tribute with,
"Rest in Peace our Tony, stay warm safe and healthy."
As per a report shared by Gayety, the couple met each other almost three decades ago in 1995, and grew a bond at the height of Anthony Geary's career. However, it was in 2019 that Anthony Geary and Gama tied the knot. Their family also included a cat named Max.
Gama had initially shared the news of Geary's passing away with TV Insider.

The Luke Spencer era that made Anthony Geary a daytime legend:

Anthony Geary's casting as Luke Spencer in General Hospital in 1978 proved to be a profitable deal. His on-screen chemistry with Genie Francis’ Laura Webber took the show to new heights, transforming them into a household name.
As per a report shared by TV Insider, Luke and Laura’s wedding in the show drew an estimated 30 million viewers. Their success in the show was highlighted in 1981, when Anthony Geary and Genie Francis appeared on the cover of Newsweek.
As per USA Today, Genie Francis also mourned the passing of Geary and shared a tribute for her co-star on social media.
"This morning I woke up and went into my husband's arms. In my sleep, my life was flashing before me and I was afraid of death. An hour later, I received a call from Frank Valentini, he told me Tony died. I immediately felt remorse, I hadn’t spoken to him in years, but I felt his life end in my sleep last night, and with it a big part of me, and mine," she wrote on X.
Francis shared that her co-star was "hilariously funny," "the anti-hero," and unpredictable.
"A powerhouse as an actor. Shoulder to shoulder with the greats. No star burned brighter than Tony Geary. He was one of a kind. As an artist, he was filled with a passion for the truth, no matter how blunt, or even a little rude it might be, but always hilariously funny. He was the anti-hero, always so irreverent, but even the most conservative had to smile. Working with him was always exciting. You never knew what might happen."
She ended the post, highlighting that Geary will be missed.
"He spoiled me for leading men for the rest of my life. I am crushed, I will miss him terribly, but I was so lucky to be his partner. Somehow, somewhere, we are connected to each other because I felt him leave last night. Good night sweet prince, good night," shared Genie Francis.
In the height of the program, Luke and Laura were referred to as a "supercouple." After his exit from General Hospital in 1982, Anthony reprised his role as Luke in 1993 until his final departure from the series in 2015. He appeared as a guest cameo in an episode in 2017.
