Dua Lipa seems to be enjoying her academic journey. On October 13, she shared an Instagram story, writing that she graduated on that day in her GCSE Spanish. She also gave a shoutout to Caty Villanueva Mátar (@catyvillanuevamatar) for being “the best teacher.”
In the next story, the singer shared a handbook of Oxford’s AQA Spanish, which seems to be for:
“A LEVEL YEAR 1 AND AS.”
The singer captioned the post:
“Next next next!!!!!!!”
According to Longoda, there are two A-levels for learning Spanish. While A1 is the beginner level, it is for those who have started learning the language. At this level, one is taught basic phrases and common vocabulary terms. In the A2 level, learners are taught how to communicate with others, especially in everyday communication at shopping malls, giving a general description of the environment, etc.
Dua Lipa turned 30 in August 2025. In an interview with British Vogue, the singer reflected on the last decade of her life and what she looks forward to in her 30s, saying:
“I turn 30 in August and I’ve been thinking about it a lot, because your 20s are just so tumultuous in the way you think about yourself and your body. And I don’t know, now I feel like I’ve come to a place – I’ve become better at taking care of myself and working out and dancing.”
She added:
“I feel the most confident I’ve ever felt. I feel very empowered and strong in my body. I feel good when I’m sharing my energy with people on stage. There’s just so much of that that makes me really proud of my body and the way it holds me.”
Dua Lipa talks about reading
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in August 2025, Dua Lipa shared that reading was an important part of her growing up. She remembered visiting the bookshop at London’s O2 center with her mother. She said books helped one to pause the hustle of everyday life.
The singer once visited a book club in a prison in the United Kingdom. She remembered meeting a woman in her early 50s who told her that if she had started reading books earlier in life, she might not have ended up where she was. The woman said reading helped her understand people and emotions better. Dua Lipa agreed, saying that reading helped people see the world more clearly and made it feel more connected.
According to People Magazine, the singer started her book club with Service95. Speaking about it in one of her YouTube videos, she said:
“I started a book club with Service95 just to get more people reading. I think we’re kind of losing a little bit of the love with libraries and picking up a good book and sharing that with people. And I want to keep that excitement alive and conversation going.”
Dua Lipa told Harper’s Bazaar that she created new music every day that sounded different from what she made before. Figuring out what direction to take next was exciting for her, but it was also the most difficult part.
