Actor Adam Scott and his wife Naomi have often been caught up in comical and confusing situations, all because of their names.

The Severance actor shares his name with Australian pro golfer Adam Scott. He recalled how earlier in his career he ended up benefiting from this fact due to a mix-up due their names.
Adam (the actor) told PEOPLE magazine, “A long time ago, like 20 years ago, I checked into a hotel in New York, and they thought the reservation was for the golfer, Adam Scott. I was not of note or a known person at all yet.”
However, instead of correcting the hotel staff, he decided to go ahead with it,
"They rolled out the red carpet and just made this big fuss over me. [They] brought me back into the manager's office and gave me this suite — the whole time thinking I was the golfer. I didn't correct them. I was like, ‘This is great.’”
He also stated how, for some reason, the two have never crossed paths over time.
“I don't know why we've never met. It seems like something we should do.”
What makes Naomi and Adam, who got married in 2055, such a great couple is the fact that the producer has also been in similar situations as her husband due to her name twin. She shares her name with English actress Naomi Scott, known for Aladdin and Smile 2. Because of this, Scott's wife has quite a lot of times ended up receiving items meant for the actress.
“Every once in a while, we get free clothes sent over that are meant for the actress,” she revealed.
However, unlike the two Adams, both Naomis have met each other at Elizabeth Banks' birthday party. Adam Scott even posted an image of the two together.
