What is Alina Thompson doing now? All about the model who survived serial killer William Bradford

The tale of Alina Thompson is one of perseverance, survival, and transformation. Back in the 1980s, when Alina was an aspiring model, she narrowly escaped becoming a victim of William "Bill" Bradford, a serial killer who would lure young women under the pretence of photography sessions. She is now a mother, model and photographer.

Bradford had approached 14-year-old Alina Thompson at Huntington Beach, California, in 1984. He tried to get into a private photo shoot by posing as a professional photographer. Years later, Alina told NBC that she was uncomfortable as he led her away from the crowd:

“When he took me off, I was kinda thinking, ‘Where are we going?’”

A tragedy was only avoided because Carl Thompson, her father, had followed his intuition. Later, authorities learned that Bradford had lured women using identical methods, killing several of them. Bradford was given the death penalty after being found guilty in 1987 of the murders of Shari Miller and Tracey Campbell. He then taunted investigators in court, saying:

“Think how many you don’t know about.”

Bradford was described as “a sadistic serial killer, a cold-blooded monster with no regard for human life” by Detective Bobby Taylor, who conducted a re-investigation of the case. The encounter with Bradford had left a lasting impact on Alina's life.

Alina Thompson's career in modeling and entertainment

Alina followed her modeling goals in spite of her near-death experience. She started modeling at the age of sixteen after attending UCLA and graduating from Cerritos High School in 1998. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, she appeared in periodicals and productions while working with Ford Models and Media Artists Group.

The Pamela Principle 2, The Killing Jar, Lady Chatterley's Stories, and Women: Stories of Passion are just some of the films in which she has acted. She even travelled around the world to places like Australia, France, Italy, and Japan for her modeling gigs and even appeared in Playboy.

Alina also started a teen clothing line under her daughter Amber's name in the year 2017. Admired by her fans as Alina Mama, she has now started a photography and digital creation, even setting up an OnlyFans account.

A private but fulfilling personal life

Alina now resides in Los Angeles and juggles her jobs as a mother, photographer, model and creator. She tied the knot to Corbin Mezner in 2006 and shares three kids with him, the eldest Amber, who was born in 2001, followed by Luca, who was born in 2005, and finally, Aiden, who was born in 2006.

Amber, who is the oldest, has followed her mother's footsteps in becoming a model and is also part of the wrestling community. Alina is close to her family and often goes on trips and adventures.

It is not known if Alina and Corbin are still together or separated, but he was in attendance at Luca's 2023 graduation.
