Actress Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly filed a formal complaint against co-star David Harbour for bullying and harassment during production of Stranger Things, which is getting ready to premiere its much-awaited fifth and final season. The complaint filed against Harbour has attracted a lot of attention to the duo that shares an on-screen father-daughter dynamic. Millie Bobby Brown accuses co-star of bullyingAccording to RadarOnline, The Daily Beast, and The Daily Mail, Millie Bobby Brown had raised concerns about David Harbour's behavior before Season 5 production started in 2024. A statement from the report read:“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. The allegations did not include claims of sexual impropriety. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”A source told The Daily Mail the accusations did not involve any sexual misconduct. Instead, the allegations hinge on workplace hostility and difficult interactions. The situation became all the more sensitive as David Harbour plays Jim Hooper, the adoptive father of Millie Bobby Brown's character Eleven in the show, with them sharing a lot of scenes together.According to various reports, Millie Bobby Brown was on set for the entire filming process with the help of a personal representative who was there throughout the production of the final season. This has also led Netflix to start an internal investigation, though neither the actors nor the streaming giant has provided any details yet. The source added:"It will be a theatrical event. Nothing is going to overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life."According to sources, Netflix is committed to maintaining attention on the conclusion of its most important franchises. According to a Netflix source, as reported by The Daily Mail:"Netflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes. Stranger Things helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans around the world have been anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that."David Harbour's personal life in the limelightThe source also stated that it is "unfortunate" that Harbour is under public scrutiny at the moment because of the collapse of his marriage to British artist Lily Allen and the infidelity accusations. The emotional strain and alleged infidelity are referenced on her newly released album, West End Girl. According to sources close to Allen, she stood with Harbour during this "brutal" time throughout the internal investigation:"Lily supported him throughout it all. It was a brutal time."The source also revealed that since the collapse of their marriage, Harbour has been close to her daughters, apparently encouraged by Allen, owing to her own upbringing in a separated household:"Lily was the product of a broken home so doesn’t want them to have the abandonment issues she had. She doesn’t want history repeating itself."The final season of Stranger Things has been split into three releases, with the first part or Volume 1, arriving on November 26, while Volume 2 will be released after exactly a month on Christmas Day in December 2025. And on the last day of the year, the last full-length episode will be available on Netflix and in theaters. Netflix has been gearing up for the show's final season for some time now. The release of the show's final season will be the streaming giant's biggest global TV event.Stay tuned to Soap Central for more information.
