Mike Myers was reportedly on the list of celebrities whose names recently popped up in the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial. The potential jurors were asked whether they were familiar with certain celebrities who might have some connection to the controversial record exec and rapper.
The reason behind including Mike Myers is unclear, as the 61-year-old actor has yet to respond to the news. Interestingly, the Wayne's World actor once seemingly poked fun at Sean Combs in one of his films. In a scene from Austin Powers in Goldmember, Dr. Evil (portrayed by Myers) had “E. Diddy” tattooed on his buttocks, seemingly parodying P. Diddy’s name.
In one of the scenes, Austin Powers (also portrayed by Mike) pulls down his nemesis’ pants, revealing the E. Diddy tattoo. Considering the tone of the spy comedy film series, the joke on the rapper might not have much meaning other than being a gag. However, in the wake of the allegations against Sean Combs, the scene resurfaced last year, with many trying to establish a link.
Coincidentally, in Austin Powers in Goldmember, Dr. Evil and Mini-Me also perform a rap song titled Hard Knock Life in Prison.
Mike Myers attended P. Diddy and Guy Oseary's Greatest Party Of All Time in 2002

The Austin Powers in Goldmember tattoo joke isn’t the only connection between the Canadian actor and the record executive. The spy comedy was released in June 2002, and Diddy co-hosted “The Greatest Party Of All Time” later that year in August with talent manager Guy Oseary, who is also Madonna's longtime business partner.
According to the New York Post, the private event happened after the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards at the Cipriani restaurant in NYC. Mike Myers arrived at the “Greatest Party Of All Time” with his then-wife, Robin Ruzan. Many well-known showbiz names were at the soiree, including Nelly, Justin Timberlake, Fisher Stevens, Run-DMC, Shane McMahon, and more.
At the time, Emil Wilbekin, Vibe magazine’s concurrent editor-in-chief, commented on P. Diddy’s parties and said (via the New York Post):
“Two things he does really well are throwing parties and fashions shows. He throws amazing parties and everyone wants to go to them. Right now he’s trying to reposition himself back into music. So throwing a party after the MTV awards makes him a force in the scene again and brings attention to him in positive way.”
It is unclear whether Mike Myers’ name was included on the list during the trial for attending P Diddy’s party more than two decades ago. According to Variety, the Shrek voice actor was among the 190 celebrities whose names were mentioned to the potential jurors to test their familiarity.
Other celebrities were Michael B. Jordan, Kid Cudi, Cassie Ventura, Michelle Williams, and many more.
