As Nicola Peltz makes headlines again, a 2015 statement by Bella Thorne has drawn attention. At that time, Thorne had called out an unnamed young Hollywood personality. She addressed the person as “very, very mean.”

Now, nearly a decade later, speculation still continues over who that might have been. According to the Daily Mail, recent speculations suspect that it could have been Nicola Peltz, an actress best known for her work in Transformers: Age of Extinction and Bates Motel, and for her recent wedding to Brooklyn Beckham.

In an interview with Seventeen magazine, Bella Thorne admitted that there was one girl in the industry whom she intentionally avoided all the time. She said:

"I have a mean girl, she's in the business, and she's very, very mean. I stay away from her at all costs. I never say hello to her."

She also added that she disliked the person not just because they were wealthy, but because they would show off their wealth:

"It's not, 'I hate her because she's a billionaire.' It's, 'I don't like her because she is a billionaire and makes sure everyone knows that she is,' which is like, you know, I didn't grow up with money or anything like that," she said in an interview with HuffPost Live.

Even though Thorne did not name any celebrities, fans and media outlets started filling in the blanks. Many people at that time pointed fingers at public figures like Kendall Jenner, Ariana Grande, and Gigi Hadid because of their wealthy family background. But Bella confirmed that the person she described wasn't a Kardashian or Jenner, ruling out several of the most popular guesses.

Bella has also been reported to be friends with Nicola's brother, Will Peltz, appearing alongside him during Milan Fashion Week in 2022. Plus, there was supposedly a personal overlap between Nicola and Bella’s then-boyfriend Gregg Sulkin, which could have prompted backstage drama.

Recently, Nicola Peltz has been caught in the crossfire of the controversial Beckham family drama thanks to her marriage to Brooklyn Beckham. Rumours state that she has contributed to escalating his feud with his family. According to the insider reports available to The Mirror, Nicola’s influence has caused a rift between Brooklyn and his parents and siblings since they began dating in 2019.

The couple's absence at David Beckham’s 50th birthday party prompted the speculation, which said that Nicola was supposedly upset due to the involvement of Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who was claimed to have been with Brooklyn in the past.
