"I know both Kelley and Scott very, very well. Scott is truly one of my very best friends, and was just here recently watching the Masters with his children. We went to the LAFC soccer game with the kids."

"He's everything you see and think you know about him when you see him. He is all of that and more."

While defending Kelley after she was detained and handcuffed by sheriffs in Utah County, Utah, Bush said,

"And Kelley is getting the help she needs. And I can tell you, I talked to her, talked to her myself, one on one personally about it. She's got excellent parents. They're on it. She's a beautiful person, and so is Scott."

As per a press release obtained by PEOPLE from Utah County's PIO, deputies were sent "earlier this morning" to the Sundance Resort after a report noted of "a female that needed some help." The report stated that she had made some concerning comments to a family member and some others, which is why the deputies wanted to make sure she was okay.
