As per Celebrity Net Worth, Burna Boy has a net worth of $22 million. The Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer said that he will cover the expenses of the funerals of four victims in the mass shooting at a Stockton, California, birthday party. The shooting took place on Saturday.

This comes after concert Burna's Colorado Concert backlash recently, when he ordered a couple seated in the front row to be escorted out for appearing to fall asleep mid performance.

11 others were injured during the shootout at Monkey Space, a banquet hall in San Joaquin County. In a statement obtained by the Stockton Record, Burna Boy said that he heard about the tragedy on The Breakfast Club radio show:

"When I heard about the children murdered in Stockton, my heart broke."

Burna Boy then reached out to Wack 100, a talent manager and co-founder of Cash Money Records to get in touch with Stockton Vice Mayor, Jason Lee:

"No family should ever face this kind of pain alone. I wanted to do whatever I could to support these parents as they begin the long process of healing."

Burna Boy has amassed his wealth through earnings from sold-out tours, brand endorsements and chart-topping hits. Boy also has multiple real estate properties, along with expensive vehicles.

Stockton Vice Mayor Jason Lee thanks Burna Boy for his contribution

Stockton Vice Mayor, Jason Lee, condemned the attackers for their cowardice of targeting young children and at a public assembly on Monday said:

"It's never been gangster to kill kids - never. You went in a in a birthday party and shot people's children. Parents brought their children out, and they left with medical examiners - that is not human."

Lee looked back on his painful past and said:

"I will say to those who are thinking of retaliation - when my brother got murdered, I thought about it, too."

In a statement, Jason Lee responded to Boy's offer and said:

"I want to thank Burna Boy for his support of families and children he has never met but still felt moved to help. Let his generosity serve as an example: so many people wnat to help but may not know how - and our community needs that support now more than ever."

While no one has been accused or arrested in connection of the shooting yet, Lee during the Monday public assembly, urged the shooters to turn themselves to the authorities. Sheriff's spokersperson Heather Brent noted that the detectives felt that incident was a "'targeted incident' and urged the public to provide as much information as possible."
