The famous actor Nicholas Braun, popularly known as Cousin Greg, from the series Succession, was arrested recently. As per reports by The Sun, he was arrested on suspicion of "DUI-impairment" in legal terms. That was the main reason behind his arrest.

He was driving through Moultonborough, New Hampshire, on August 30, 2025. He was locked up in the New Hampshire Carroll County Jail for barely an hour. As per reports by TMZ, no mugshots of Nicholas Braun were taken because the cameras at the police station were not working.

As per the reports by People, Nicholas Braun was primarily suspected by the police because his vehicle had no headlights on. They took him to jail, where he was questioned and retained for about an hour. A report by The Sun mentions that he was then released on recognizance, which means that he promised to attend his trial on the assigned date, without any resistance. Thus, no bail was required.

But, this does not mean that he is free now. He will face the court for the charges. It is illegal to consume any substance, including alcoholic beverages, while behind the wheel or prior to driving. If convicted, the penalty can be any amount, it can be anywhere from $500 to $1,200. The matter can get progressively worse, as he could lose his license to drive from the civil charges for up to two years in accordance with New Hampshire state law. Braun has not made any public comments about the incident. Braun's team has not responded to media requests for comment.
