NBA star Dillon Brooks has filed for a restraining order against Heather Andrews, the mother of his children.

According to New York Post, Brooks has accused his former partner of once threatening to axe his fingers so that he would never play basketball again, in addition to harassment and other threats. The athlete filed the restraining order on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

In an alleged conversation obtained by TMZ, Dillon Brooks recalled a message from Andrews:

“I’ll habe [sic] someone cut each one of your f–king little fingers off one by one… So you can never play basketball LOL… And actually now I understand why people are racist.”

Dillon Brooks' accusations against Heather Andrews explored

Dillon Brooks, who is days away from being traded to the Phoenix Suns from the Houston Rockets as part of the Kevin Durant blockbuster, shares two daughters with Andrews: Mila, 5, and Luna, 2. They reportedly first met at a club in Las Vegas in 2018.

The athlete also accused Andrews of vandalizing his property and hacking into his social media channels throughout their relationship. Brooks claims the harassment first began when she got pregnant with their first child.

He has accused her of sending “emotionally abusive” messages and even sharing their private text exchanges publicly,

"in an effort to try and harass and embarrass me and/or to gain leverage over me.”
Andrews has allegedly "made good on her threats to distribute and publish private information," the filing reads, per Us Weekly.

The request continues,

“Most recently, Petitioner has obtained unauthorized access to my OurFamilyWizard (‘OFW’) account and has sent at least one false message to herself, and then actually used that message as the keystone for her current restraining order request against me.”

Another text from Andrews allegedly reads:

“I really would consider not moving in that f***ing house because you’re going to be at risk living there. I’ll f*** that condo up too I’d change the locks if I were you.”

Dillon Brooks is alleging that she sent more than 100 texts a day, as well as used burner phone numbers to get hold of his attention. At one point, he said Andrews paid a visit to him in Toronto and apologized, after which, she acted like 'a completely different person'. However, he claims this was just a 'rouse to get pregnant yet again.'

"Got into your city national bank acct [sic] too lol. Want to see a real scam?" another text from Andrews reads. "I'll transfer money out your account into mine and say you did it."

Dillon Brooks is petitioning the court to grant him a non-contact and stay-away order that would prevent Andrews from getting within 100 yards of him, his house, his work, and his car.

Us Weekly has reported that he already has a temporary restraining order in place. It was granted in November 2024, and is expected to expire at the end of next month. The NBA veteran is also fighting the mother of his children for custody.

"Yo you're out your mind messaging me. I told you Mirna and I have a relationship. I don't give f*** about Mila and Luna or woulda been message you about this stuff," another text from Andrews reads. "If you keep emailing or text it's going to be problems. I'll send someone to your crib to do something there will be no mom left. Mirna not scared she got the right people to come and f*** you up."

Per Daily Mail, Mirna is the name of a model whom Dillon Brooks has been seeing recently.
