During a December 4 episode of the This Past Weekend with Theo Von podcast, MrBeast revealed the first thing Elon Musk ever uttered to him. The Youtuber philanthropist, real name Jimmy Donaldson, has been a fan of the Tesla CEO for years, and the interaction between the two came after he took charge of X (formerly Twitter).
They first met in person at the Super Bowl in December 2024. He revealed that the SpaceX CEO asked him if people still called his platform Twitter. He said:
"Do you think people still call X Twitter? Do they call it X?”
MrBeast admitted, "Yeah, most people call it Twitter, I’ve noticed,” to which Musk replied, “Interesting.”

During the episode, the 28-year-old content creator referred to Musk as a pioneer in the field of Mars exploration, electric cars, Neuralink, and eradicating the trillion dollars worth of government spending with DOGE. As for what he is doing, he remarked that he is "pioneering funny videos."
The two have had several exchanges over the years, and Musk backed the media personality up when he tried to monetize his content on X. Musk even encouraged him to create content for the same. While he initially declined, owing to how expensive it is to produce new videos, he began uploading old videos on the platform to check if it counts for monetization.
At the time, Musk commended him and retweeted his videos to increase his reach. For his part, MrBeast has had "X Super Official CEO" in his bio on X for months now. His pinned tweet for over 2 years was a humorous exchange between the two in May 2022, with Donaldson offering himself up for the owner of X in case Musk were to pass away "under mysterious circumstances."

Donaldson, who currently holds the title for the most number of followers on YouTube, also revealed that he may one day try his hand at running for president on the episode, perhaps when he's "50 or 60." However, he added that he has several milestones to accomplish, including running a successful business and more.

The exchanges between the two have gone viral many a time, and this new revelation of their first official interaction is just the latest of many.
As for what he is doing in his own career, during the episode with Theo Von, MrBeast revealed that his gaming show, Beast Games, is slated to come out on Amazon this month.
