Teresa Giudice’s volatility and temper are certainly not breaking news. The latest example of it reared its head on June 20 during an interview with a local Chicago news station, WGN. Anchors Robin Baumgarten and Larry Potash were there to help her promote her upcoming Chicago appearance at Zanies in Rosemont for Party with a Housewife.
One of the anchors took it upon themselves to bring up her history of legal issues, which did not sit well with the Real Housewives of New Jersey star. In the exchange, Larry Potash asked Teresa:
“How is it that a family doesn’t pay their taxes for years?”
Teresa Giudice replied:
“What family are you talking about?”
Potash then retorted:
“I’m talking about your family. Isn’t that what the fraud charges were?”
This is where Teresa drew the line and abruptly cut the call short. As of this reporting, neither Teresa nor her representatives have commented regarding the situation.
Teresa Giudice at a glance
Teresa Giudice was formerly married to Joe Giudice. In 2014, Teresa was sentenced to 15 months of prison time after she and her ex-husband were found guilty of mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. She ended up serving only 11 months, and Joe began his 41-month sentence once she was released.
Joe was ultimately freed in 2019, but the pair separated after 20 years of marriage. The pair shares four daughters together from their marriage: Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. Joe ultimately moved to Italy following a deportation battle, and now reportedly resides in the Bahamas.

In the wake of her nuptials coming to an end, Teresa Giudice took some time to heal before eventually developing the courage and strength to move forward. In 2022, she married Luis Ruelas.
Luis has been a topic of contention for Teresa, however, as Tiffany “New York” Pollard accused him of cheating on Giudice while she was filming House of Villains. Pollard went after the couple on the November 7, 2024, episode, saying:
“You know why Luis really sent those roses? Because he’s guilty, b*tch! He’s been f*cking around and each one of those roses represent how many times he cheated on your *ss since you been in here.”
Eventually, Pollard cleared the air and relished in the opportunity to confront Giudice:
“She's a veteran. She's been in the business a very long time. And it was fun clashing with her.”
