In April 2025, singer Gene Simmons listed his Beverly Hills mansion for sale with a price of $13.995 million. However, according to an exclusive report by TMZ from December 29, he made a price cut. The house is up for sale with a price tag of a little less than $13 million.

In terms of details, the lavish house spans over 7,741 square feet. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. One can get a view of the Pacific Ocean from the house. The house also has a modern kitchen, a theater, a gallery space, and more amenities. Speaking about the house, Gene Simmons previously told the media outlet:

“Favorite part of the house is waking up in the morning in the upper bedroom, having coffee in bed and on a clear day being able to see all the way out to the ocean. And my other favorite time is sunset in the upper bedroom or downstairs barbecuing something outdoors. The views really are spectacular.”

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Gene Simmons has a net worth of $400 million. He, along with his wife Shannon Tweed, bought a house in Malibu for $5.8 million. The same year, they also purchased an 11,000-square-foot house in Nevada for $8.2 million. However, they listed the property for sale since they did not spend much time there.

His rock band Kiss gets more than $100 million every year from shows, tours, and other business avenues. However, last year, they put the band’s catalog and other assets up for $300 million.

Gene Simmons on technological advancements and meeting the Dalai Lama

In February 2025, Gene Simmons sat down for an interview on The Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan podcast. During the conversation, Simmons said that as a kid, he would watch the Beatles on TV and was amazed by their looks. It was at that moment that he realized that they were cool. Corgan wanted to know his opinions about changes in the time of AI. Simmons said:

“It doesn't matter if you think it will or if you think it won't. The future is here.”

Corgan asked:

“What does that look like in 10 years? Are people going just as many shows with virtual avatars as they are live concerts or how do you balance that?”

Gene Simmons replied:

“All of it will coexist and all of it will depend on the individuality of the experience. There are some people if you've never met the Dalai Lama, you would want to be in his holiness, his presence. I've met the man and obviously seen him in media. That's not the same thing as being in the same room.”

He mentioned that AI and avatars were close to reality as one could ever imagine. Meanwhile, speaking about bands, he felt that a live experience of a performance is never enough. According to him, recordings always sounded better. Gene Simmons said when they first started the band, it was about who had good taste. However, he said it has changed over time.
