Bobbi Althoff's face became paralyzed after a botched botox. The influencer posted Instagram stories on November 17 opening up about her botched botox and added:

"It's been two weeks since I did my botched botox. And let me show you guys the updates smile. The doctor refunded the...I think it was, like, $1,600, and he said that he did nothing wrong, but he refunded it anyway."

Bobbi Althoff then addressed the camera and showed her small smile before adding:

"That's as big as it can be. It makes me mad. I wanted to take family pictures this winter. I can't smile, and it sucks so bad. It, like, makes me so angry, because I just, there's nothing I can do about it."

What did Bobbi Althoff do to her face?

Bobbi Althoff's recent update comes days after she revealed her face paralysis in a November 9 TikTok video, where she said:

"Morning, guys, apparently I do not learn from my mistakes, because I like to repeat them, just to make sure that it was a mistake the first time. But if you're wondering, 'Bobbi, why can't your face move? Well, let me tell you why."

She then added:

"In 2023, I went to this person that was like, 'Oh you should get this done to your face,' and I was like, 'Sure, let's do it.' One of the things that she did was put 20 units of botox into my chin, and it made it so that I couldn't smile."

After the incident, Bobbi Althoff revealed that she vowed never to get any more injections again. However, she recently changed her mind after she began experiencing "bad jaw problems." Althoff revealed that she decided to see a TMJ specialist, who recommended to get a botox in her jaw for pain relief.

The influencer recalled being scared of botox because of the bad experience she's had in the past, and added that the doctor, convinced her that added botox will "really help" with the pain in her jaw.

Althoff mentioned that the doctor recommended her to do "100 units" of Botox, and had her sign a waiver. The influencer added that after receiving the units, she woke up two days in a row with migraines and had a lisp while speaking. The area around her cheekbones also hurt, and her dentist told her that it could take three months for the botox to wear off.
