Stereo Gum has reported that the King County Sheriff’s Department is now seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect. Brandon Godsey had allegedly gotten into an aggravated assault right outside the White River Amphitheater. He was rushed to the Harborview Medical Center for treatment, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Fox 13 Seattle has reported that anyone with relevant information, including videos and photos, is asked to hand it in on the King County Sheriff's Office online portal. As of this writing, an investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further details remain scarce.

Local outlet Auburn Reporter has reported that Brandyn Hull, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office, told the outlet that the King County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives had responded to reports about an aggravated assault shortly before 11 p.m. on August 27. The incident allegedly took place at 40601 Auburn Enumclaw Road SE.
Brandon Godsey's girlfriend and family have all taken to social media to issue pleas for help in locating the suspect. His brother, whose TikTok username is @jjjayyyden, left a comment under a video from the concert that reads as follows:
"My brother died after this concert, if anyone has any information at all, or saw anything please message our mother @WXYZ & contact Seattle police department."
Brandon Godsey's girlfriend, Brandy Rutherford, also shared a TikTok video of the two with a lengthy, emotional caption:
"Yesterday was supposed one of the best nights we were gonna remember forever and it turned into the worst night of my life. I'm going to remember you in the best way possible and try my hardest just to focus on all of the amazing memories we have together. We were supposed to grow old together and have a family. I know you were my soulmate without a doubt. I've cried so many tears I don't know if I have anymore in me to cry."
She continued,
"We all love you so incredibly much baby and we were hoping and praying the outcome was completely different. You shined so incredibly bright in so many people's eyes especially mine. My life and our family's lives are forever changed now and you WILL get the justice you deserve we will make sure of it. I will love you forever Brandon. Wait for me up there baby because I'm not going anywhere. 5 #justiceforbrandon"
