Kevin McCall has claimed that Chris Brown still owes him $25k for four songs he wrote for him in the early 2010s.

McCall, while discussing his financial struggles during a recent episode of the podcast Back on Figg, claimed that he is on EBT. The Electronics Benefits Transfer system is an electronic system that allows state welfare departments to issue benefits.

"Why the f**k I got an EBT card and this n***a is at Breezy Bowl and made ninety whatever the f*** million?"

He then broke down and said,

"I can't even get nothing. Bro, man. Y'all n***as wanna see a n***a cry on here so y'all can think I'm a bit**. That shit ain't fair n***a!"

He then asked Chris Brown.

"Can I get $25k for them four songs I owe you?"

Young Thug offers to pay $25k to Kevin McCall

Post Kevin McCall's appearance on the Back on Figg podcast, Young Thug took to X and offered to pay him the $25k that he's allegedly owed. He also suggested that Brown will eventually reach out to him.

"Kevin McCall hit me my n***a, I'll give u the 25k u need, and i no CB would give it to u also bro he a real one. N****s is busy sometimes brada."

Kevin McCall had earlier collaborated with Brown on tracks such as "Deuces" and "Strip." The two had a good working relationship for years, and, according to McCall, they fell out after Strip was released.

In 2016, McCall had asked Brown to have a sit-down meeting to handle their working relationship. He took to X to discuss the same and wrote,

"I tried the adult business route. I feel my kindness is being taken for weakness."

Brown had responded to McCall with a since-deleted lengthy Instagram caption, where he said,

"Keep talking Kevin. This street s*** is what I'm great at a lot better than this music. You better check them loose lips for I show u the real devil, my ni**a."

He also went on to call Kevin a "bottom feeder" and warned him,

"Leep fu**ing wit me and you won't be able to walk let along sing again."

McCall, at the time, was signed to Brown's record label, CBE Entertainment. While McCall is yet to react and respond to Young Thug's offer, Chris Brown is yet to respond to his allegations, and whether he would be paying him the $25k.
