Chris Pérez, who was previously married to singer Selena Quintanilla, recently opened up about her life and career in a rare interview. Pérez, who went on to form his own Grammy Award-winning band, the Chris Perez band, and later married his second wife, Venessa Villanueva, after Selena's death, sat down for an interview with People Magazine, published on November 15, where he explained her rare talent that made Selena special. He said:"There are a lot of talented people out there, but she just had something special. It’s not just the voice, but the way she did it. He was also involved in a lawsuit with Selena's family. According to USA Today, her father, Abraham Quintanilla, attempted to stop the adaptation of Pérez's book into a series.
