Following the trailer release of the Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson starrer musical, netizens and film enthusiasts are curious to find out what happened to Claire Sardina. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based singers, at the time, had a dedicated local fan base due to their impressive renditions of Patsy Cline and Neil Diamond.
However, according to tribute.ca, while their tribute act was at its peak, performing at local music festivals, small-sized clubs, and community events, Claire Sardina unfortunately met with a serious car accident while mowing her lawn in 1996. Due to the accident, she lost one of her legs, as it had to be amputated. Being a dedicated artist and a passionate singer, her love for music made her return to the stage once again, despite going through such a serious emotional and physical trauma.
