The news of her UK tour dates comes months after Courtney Hadwin announced the release of her anticipated single Spellbound back in February. Following that, Hadwin released her debut album Little Miss Jagged in September. In an interview with Fault Magazine, the twenty-one year old singer reflected in how proud her younger self would be of her achivements and how far she has come since that first audition. She said:

"I think she would be shocked at how much I’ve changed and proud of how much courage I have now. I used to care so much about what people thought. I never showed it, but every hate comment or sly remark hit me really hard. I’d sit and wonder if I wanted to put myself in the limelight at all."
