Reality TV star Erin Bates Paine from Bringing Up Bates has been in the hospital for days due to childbirth complications. Following the delivery, she developed a kidney infection, UTI, suffered septic shock, and also had seizures.
On September 9, her husband, Chad, was seen reading a letter to Erin from their daughter, Brooklyn, while she was lying on a hospital bed, in an Instagram post. The heartwarming post's caption read:
“A moment we never want to forget. Being away from our babies has been harder than we ever imagined. Our hearts ache to be together again.”
In the letter which Chad read out, their daughter said she would pay for her mother and hoped to see her soon. Her words, as read out by Chad, were:
“I love you and I know you love me back. I wish I could see you now.”
Chad almost broke down, but then continued that their daughter would be waiting for Erin Bates every second. She said no matter how long her mother stays in the hospital, she will be there for her. She said he was confident of her mother recovering at the earliest.
The camera then zoomed in on the letter, which had these words:
“The Mom who loves me.”
The next page showed a drawing of a girl shedding tears. According to The U.S. Sun, Chad had been posting updates about Erin Bates Paine’s recovery on Instagram. However, the posts stopped, which left fans concerned.
Their youngest child was born on August 25. Besides the newborn child, Henry Blythe, the couple shares six children: Brooklyn, Everly, Carson, Finley, William, and Holly.
Chad said it was difficult for him to see Erin Bates Paine suffer
Erin Bates Paine was recently transferred to another hospital. In an Instagram post, the couple could be seen holding each other. In a lengthy caption, Chad wrote that although recovery isn’t an easy journey, they feel thankful for every little step, mentioning:
“It has completely broken my heart to watch my Erin walk through such pain, yet to see her lifting her voice in praise to the Lord in the midst of it has been nothing short of inspiring. Her kindness and gratefulness she demonstrates to those taking care of her is nothing short of Christ in her. She has been a light wherever she goes.”
The post went on:
“Yesterday, Erin was transferred to a new hospital where a team of doctors is working together to help her improve. The nurses have been so compassionate and have become like family to us.”
As per the post, Chad and Erin Bates Paine missed their children more than they could explain. They felt thankful for all the prayers, messages, and kind actions from people, and that love was helping them get through the hard time.
Almost a week ago, Chad shared another Instagram post, writing that Erin Bates Paine had a long and serious seizure. Even though her infection had been getting better, they once again found themselves facing sadness, worry, and tears. She was in the ICU, and doctors were doing tests and scans to find out the reason.
