American diplomat, former prosecutor, and media personality, Kimberly Guilfoyle, in a recent interview with ANT1, a Greek network, opened up about her marriage to Gavin Newsom, the 40th Governor of California. During her first interview on Greek television with Maria Sarafoglou, the 56-year-old Guilfoyle had an honest conversation about her personal life and praised her former husband, Gavin Newsom, as per the Daily Mail.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, who was a host for Fox News, has been appointed United States Ambassador to Greece. During her interview with Sarafoglou, Guilfoyle discussed her relationship with her previous husbands, Newsom and Eric Villency, the CEO of Villency Design Group, with whom she shares a son, Ronan, but avoided mentioning her former partner and fiancé, Donald Trump Jr.

Guilfoyle began dating Donald Trump Jr, the US President's son, in 2018. The couple got engaged in December 2020, but eventually, they called off their long-term relationship and engagement at the end of 2024. Following her recent interview with ANT1, in which she mentioned her ex-husband, Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California since 2019, netizens wanted to uncover what happened between Guilfoyle and Newsom.

Diplomat Kimberly Guilfoyle and Gavin Newsom were at one point considered a powerful and influential political couple. While the two tied the knot in 2001, they split in 2006. Not to mention, they were even nicknamed "the new Kennedys". The newly appointed Ambassador of Greece and the California Governor met for the first time at a Democratic fundraiser sometime around 1994. After Newsom became the Mayor of San Francisco in 2004, Kimberly moved to New York City to work for CourtTV.

It was in 2004 that Harper's Bazaar nicknamed the power couple "the Kennedeys." Following this, in 2005, both Guilfoyle and Newsom filed for divorce, eventually finalizing it in 2006. However, in between that period, the two attended many events together, sparking rumors of getting back together. After their split, Kimberly Guilfoyle married Eric Villency in 2006.

While she had her meeting with the Greek President during her visit, Guilfoyle also had an interview with ANT1, in which she was candid about her personal life and also praised her ex-husband, Gavin Newsom.

During Guilfoyle's conversation with Tasoulas, the Greek President inquired if she had come to Greece before, to which she replied:

"I have! I actually covered the Olympic Games in 2004 for ABC News. I also had a honeymoon here in 2004. Fabulous honeymoon but…"

Tasoulas jokingly added:

"Honeymoon was fabulous, but the marriage?"

Kimberly replied:

"We'll work on getting a new husband."

Following her appointment as the Greek Ambassador, Kimberly Guilfoyle has officially moved to Greece.
