Three members of the Putman family, who appeared in their own TLC show, Meet The Putmans, have passed away in a tragic accident. According to People Magazine, several members of the family were traveling when they were in the car accident that lead to their deaths.

The information about the accident was first shared by the official family Instagram account on Saturday, 27 September. A portion of the statement read:

"I come to you with a heavy heart asking for prayers. Our family was in a tragic car accident and we lost Papa, Neenee, and Aunt Megan."

Meet The Putmans was a reality TV show that followed the lives of the extended Putman family where three generations of the family lived together under one roof. The Michigan based Putman family rose to fame in 2017 after their show aired on TLC and quickly became loved by fans because of their unique living arrangement.

After Meet The Putmans show was canceled after one season, the family opened their own YouTube channel named Growing Up Putmans, which now has 7.87k subscribes.

The statment released by the Putman family also shared that five members of the family, "Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia," were injured in the accident and remain hospitalized. It further added:

"My entire family — Papa, Neenee, Billy, Jen, Brandon, Kacie, Blake, Megan, Jamie, Blair, myself (Isabelle), Abby, Emma, Addison, Bella, Mercy, Gabby, Noah, Mya, Nova, Lulu, Alena, Gia, Jonah, Eli, Solomon, Uriah, Samson, Luke, and Anna — all proclaim that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. He is our hope, our peace, and our salvation. Even in this time of heartbreak, we rest in knowing that God is in control. We ask for your continued prayers for Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia as they recover, and for our whole family as we walk through this deep loss. Thank you for every prayer, message and act of love. Your support means more than words can express."

Longtime fans of the popular Meet The Putmans family have taken to social media to pay tribute. Tudor Dixon, the former GOP nominee for Governor of Michigan, released a statement, on X (formerly Twitter). A part of it said:

"I love this family and my heart is broken. 💔"

Another added:

"That's absolutely heartbreaking. Sending so much strength to the Putman family and the whole community."

This fans said:
