Die Another Day star Pierce Brosnan, who is widely known for playing James Bond, recently reunited with his son, Christopher, after 20 years. The 72-year-old veteran actor, Pierce, cut ties with Christopher twenty years ago due to his drug addiction and getting in trouble with the law. According to pictures published by Page Six, the Tomorrow Never Dies actor reunited with his 52-year-old son Christopher at a restaurant called Dorian in the Notting Hill area in London, United Kingdom. Pierce's other son, Dylan, was also there.
While Pierce Brosnan's reunion with Christopher after two decades happened over a family dinner, a source informed The Mirror that they had a good time together. The source said:
"They both looked happy and relaxed while sitting down with one of Brosnan’s other sons, Dylan."
The source further added:
"Pierce and Christopher’s problems have been well documented. But it seems they’ve managed to put them behind them. It was really nice to see them together."
According to Page Six, Pierce Brosnan was previously married to Australian actress Cassandra Harris. Christopher and Charlotte's biological parents were Cassandra and film producer Dermot Harris, who died in Chicago in 1986. It was after Dermot's passing away that Pierce adopted Christopher and Charlotte. The GoldenEye star tied the knot with Cassandra Harris in 1980 and was married to her till 1991, until she died of ovarian cancer.
Amid Pierce Brosnan's recent reunion with his son Christopher, the netizens are curious to find out what happened to Charlotte Brosnan. As per the BBC, Charlotte unfortunately died of ovarian cancer, like her mother, Cassandra. After struggling with the disease for three years, Charlotte took her last breath on June 28, 2013. She was 41. At the time, Pierce Brosnan, in a statement, said:
"Darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity."
