Taylor Lewan and his Bussin’ With The Boys co-host Will Compton posed with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift at the Tight Ends and Friends concert.
The Tortured Poets Department singer had made a surprise cameo during Kane Brown’s show, singing Shake It Off in a duet performance. It was Swift’s first live act since the end of the Eras Tour last year. After her unexpected cameo, the Willow artist was photographed with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast hosts. Taylor Lewan posted the picture on X and wrote:
“Iconic flex crew”
Lewan’s podcast buddy, Will Compton, also posted a backstage video of Taylor Swift’s performance on Instagram, which also captured an overexcited Travis Kelce. He captioned it:
“What a cameo by @tkelce here. My boy loves him some Taylor Swift music”
For those unaware, Taylor Lewan was the first-round pick (11th overall) in the 2014 National Football League draft and spent the entirety of his career with the Tennessee Titans. However, before his NFL debut, the pro found himself in legal trouble due to an incident that happened in December 2013.
According to MLive, Taylor Lewan was allegedly involved in a bar fight. The altercation reportedly took place on December 1, 2013, following the Michigan Wolverines’ loss against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Per ESPN, the then-college football player “was arrested shortly after midnight.”
In contrast, MLive reported that Taylor was questioned and not arrested on the night of the altercation. The incident happened outside the Brown Jug restaurant on South University Avenue in Ann Arbor. Two Ohio State fans accused Taylor Lewan of assaulting them, while the Michigan Wolverines player refuted the claims.
In the following months, the NFL pro faced three misdemeanor charges, but he eventually settled rather than going to trial.
Taylor Lewan faced one count of aggravated assault and two charges of assault and battery

According to MLive, the investigation lasted until the start of March 2014, with authorities looking into the role the ex-Wolverines offensive lineman had in the alleged bar fight. The Michigan-based outlet reported that Lewan was facing three misdemeanor charges—one count of aggravated assault and two charges of assault and battery.
As mentioned, Taylor Lewan had denied the allegations of his involvement. In May 2014, he told MLive,
“The truth is I was put in a situation where I had to break up two people. My brother and another individual. I kind of pushed the guy and separated them and left the situation. It got blown a little out of proportion. I don’t hold that against them at all. I completely understand. I'm not really worried about that.”
However, according to the Detroit Free Press, Lewan took a plea deal over going to trial in October 2014. He pleaded guilty to two of the misdemeanor charges—disorderly person drunk and disturbing the peace—while the previous assault charges were dropped per the plea deal. Taylor Lewan also agreed to pay $1,714.68 in restitution to Ryan Munsch and confessed to the judge:
“I had been drinking. I was intoxicated.”
In December 2014, he was sentenced to 12 months of probation and was ordered to pay $950 in fines and costs, plus $30/month in probation fees in addition to the previously mentioned restitution.
