Tylor Chase, a former child star who had a recurring role in the Nickelodeon series Ned’s Declassified, began trending online on December 21, 2025, after a video showed him living on the streets. The video shared by social media user Dom Lucre sparked concern among fans over the actor’s appearance.
Taylor Chase rose to fame by playing Martin Querly in Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide from 2004 to 2007. According to IMDb, after the show ended, he had a small part in James Franco’s film Good Time Max, where he played a young Adam. His last acting credit was in 2011 as a voice actor for L.A Noire.
Tylor Chase disappeared from the spotlight for three years before he reappeared on YouTube, where he catalogued his poems.
Tylor Chase's life after Ned Declassified explored
In a 2014 poem titled Bipolar, Tylor Chase detailed mental health struggles. In the video description, Chase said,
“Awareness for this powerful psychological disorder is essential to its understanding.”
Reciting the poem, a 24-year-old Chase said at the time:
"I’m only just a person. A lonely being incapable of change. Yet I’m chained down to my bedroom by the gravity of bipolar."
In the poem, Chase went on to note that he had a
“hard time with life,” adding, “ But I know I can make it better."
Tylor Chase also lamented about no one going to his shows, noting,
“I’m a leaf in a running gutter with an inevitable fate of ending up in a drain.”
In a 2017 video, Taylor Chase shared a video titled, Bipolar vlogs where he detailed his fears living with the disorder. He said:
“Scared, lost, afraid of the universe, yet only living in my world.” He continued, “I may as well be on a deserted Island alone like a scarecrow. I wander from street to street and from city to city in search of treasure."
Tyler Chase continued to catalogue his poems for years on YouTube. In his last video in 2021, the actor shared a picture of himself in a mask.
In September 2025, a social media user shared a similar video revealing that the former child star was homeless. At the time, the user Citlalli Wilson created a GoFundMe to render financial assistance to the struggling actor. However, according to Wilson, the fundraiser was paused after Tylor Chase’s mum reached out to the user with the text saying the actor needed medical intervention. Any attempt to raise money is futile until he accepts help. According to multiple reports, Chase’s mum wrote:
“Tylor needs medical attention, not money. But he refuses. I appreciate your effort. But money would not be a benefit to him. I have gotten him several phones, but he loses them within a day or two. He can’t manage money for his meds by himself.”
The fundraiser raised a little over $1200 before it was taken down.
