NBA star James Harden is facing a civil lawsuit seeking over $100,000 in damages and negligence.
According to the multiple reports, a woman filed the lawsuit on June 23, 2024, who alleged that she was s*xually assaulted at Harden’s house during a New Year’s Eve party at his home in Houston.

The plaintiff, Marisa Watley, claimed that she was r*ped by Harden’s nephew, Justice Armani Blackburn, at the party when she was unconscious. She has claimed in her lawsuit that Harden and his security team acted negligently and failed to take adequate measures to prevent the incident. The lawsuit also stated that Harden is “vicariously liable for the actions of his guards and their corporate employer.”
