Jasmine Tookes has welcomed her second child just over a week after opening the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The 34-year-old model announced that she and her husband, Juan David Borrero, had a son, Mateo Ira Borrero, born October 28, only 13 days after the show, which took place on October 15.

The happy couple shared the news on Instagram with a series of black-and-white photographs featuring their newborn and two-year-old daughter, Mia. The caption read:

“The greatest blessing. Mateo Ira Borrero 🤎 10.28.25.”

Tookes and Juan David Borrero became engaged in September 2020 after four years together and married in September 2021 at the Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador.

Despite being nearly nine months pregnant, Tookes opened the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn Navy Yard. She wore a nude bodysuit beneath a beaded fishnet dress and a shell-inspired frame. The model, who first walked for the brand in 2012, had participated in every show through 2018, as well as its reimagined return in 2024.

In an interview with People, Tookes shared:

“I think this second time around is a little bit harder just because I do have a toddler.”

A Vogue report from 2020 detailed how Juan David Borrero proposed to Jasmine Tookes on September 21, following four years of dating. “It was a complete surprise!” Tookes said.

“I woke up at 9:00 a.m. to go about my regular day of meetings with JOJA… After the meeting, he came downstairs to tell me to pack my bags for a surprise trip that we were leaving for in two hours,” added Jasmine.

Tookes said she quickly packed, and the pair left together. During the drive, Borrero blindfolded her, taking her first to The Rose in Venice, California, where they had met. They later flew to Page, Arizona, and, as Tookes shared:

“He knows me so well that he had Popeye’s catered—I was in heaven!—so we ate chicken tenders and drank champagne until we landed.”

From there, a helicopter carried them to a secluded location in Utah’s desert rocks. “It was just us,” Tookes said. At the site, a setup with two chairs, a table, champagne, and charcuterie awaited them. After about an hour, Borrero led her to a lookout where stones on the ground spelled out “WYMM?,” shorthand for “Will you marry me?”

“As I was processing this, I heard a drone flying from above which had a string hanging from it with a small black pouch below, this is how the ring was delivered to him. As the drone approached, he reached into the pouch, pulled out the box, and went on one knee. I was in complete disbelief and immediately burst into tears… After lots of happy tears, I obviously said yes, and this was honestly the best day I could’ve ever imagined,” she shared.
