Jenelle Evans is opening up about her son Jace after the 16-year-old moved out of her Las Vegas home. The Teen Mom star has been answering questions on social media and responding to fans who are asking about her relationship with Jace. She says the situation feels like a “full circle moment.”

Jace, who viewers first met on Teen Mom 2, has been living with Jenelle since she gained custody of him in 2023. Now, he has moved back to North Carolina after tension at home. Jenelle says she hopes this experience will help him learn and make better choices.

As per IMDb, the actress also has two younger children at home, 11-year-old Kaiser, whom she shares with Nathan Griffith, and 8-year-old Ensley, whom she shares with her ex David Eason. She says she is focused on raising them while supporting Jace from a distance.

When fans asked Jenelle how she feels about Jace leaving home, she said it feels like history repeating itself. She compared her relationship with Jace now to the one she had with her own mother when she was a teenager. Jenelle Evans admitted that she struggled with authority when she was young, and she sees similar patterns in Jace.

She says Jace needs to “rewire himself” the same way she had to when she grew up. Jenelle explained that she had to change her behavior and reactions over the years. She said she worked on being less reactive and on controlling her language because of the environment she grew up in.

According to Jenelle Evans, her son’s decision to move out is difficult but she believes it may be an opportunity for him to learn responsibility. She says she hopes he will be able to follow rules and change his approach as he gets older.

She wishes that Jace will be able to effect the same changes in his own life.

Previously it was reported that Jace had returned to North Carolina following a family fight. Jenelle has not provided any additional information on the case but she indicates that she is giving him his room and she still takes care of her younger kids.
