Jennifer Lawrence, on December 1, stepped out at the 2025 Gotham Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. Lawrence flaunted a sleek plunging blazer and a high-slit skirt by Christian Dior, paired with high-heel sandals, anklets, and dangling earrings. Lawrence was nominated for Outstanding Lead Performance for her performance in Die My Love. Lawrence plays the character of Grace, who struggles with postpartum depression and navigating the early months of motherhood.

One Battle After Another led the awards ceremony with six nominations, and Lawrence praised the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed film. During the latest episode of BAFTA and Samsung's BAFTA Playback, Lawrence said,

"This is the best movie I've ever seen. This is 'One Battle After Another.'

Lawrence added,

"I can't remember a time where I ever had an experience like that in the cinema and it was shared. When it was over, everyone applauded. I just kept thanking my husband over and over again because he had booked the tickets like two weeks in advance, and I just couldn't say anything else other than just like, thank you for that experience."

Lawrence also urged viewers to catch the film "in theaters," noting that the film has an "impossible pace to uphold."

More about Jennifer Lawrence's latest film, Die My Love

After Die My Love premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, Jennifer Lawrence spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about her experience filming the movie.

Jennifer Lawrence mentioned that it was easy to work with Robert Pattinson and talked about filiming the intense fight scenes in the movie. She said,

"So there were even times where we were supposed to be fighting in the movie and you can see us laughing and (director) Lynne (Ramsay) just like kept it. Fighting with somebody who you get along with is fun."

Lawrence, who also produced the film, said that the role was "really fun" and that she felt as though she was acting out her intrusive thoughts. She added,

"You don't get to live intrusive thoughts out loud and so it's fun to get to play somebody like that, and like what if I go into the bathroom and just destroy everything? It was actually kind of a rush."

Lawrence, who has two children with her husband, Cooke Maroney, has stated on several occasions that she can relate to the character. Lawrence has been vocal about experiencing postpartum depression after giving birth to her second child.
